HO– USE TRAINING

Your Dog will spend supervised time throughout the day, and at night roaming freely indoors inside our home socializing to acceptable indoor behavior and commands. The dog begins the house training aspect of her training staying confined to a crate watching people and older dogs interacting inside the home. The dog is taken on leash from her crate/cage every three hours outdoors to use the bathroom by command. After using the bathroom the dog immediately returns indoors going inside the cage, and has her leash removed using the correct command.  Returning immediately to the crate minimizes confusion on what is expected from the dog even the number of steps he or she takes inside the home. For example, it rains and the dog has muddy paws.  At this point when the handler sees fit, the dog may be released to roam supervised inside the home. The dog is house trained using the claiming technique. With the claiming technique the dog receives a voice and tone correction each time the dog attempts to mouth or chew all items that do not belong to the dog such as cable or phone cords, edges of carpeting, a hot dog sitting on a paper plate, certain areas of the house, furniture, even the dogs bed where she sleeps can be claimed. Although the dog sleeps on the bed it may be claimed as yours, so she does not have the option to chew on the bed.  However,  specific items that you have declared as the dogs personal items such as balls or toys s/he will receive no correction for mouthing or chewing the item.  Then depending on variables such as the dogs age, amount of water they drank, etc. the dog will be leashed, and taken outside to bathroom restarting the scenario.

Dog Commands that frequently are associated with house training include but are not limited to

ON LEASH OBEDIENCE DOG TRAINING

Since Advanced On And Off Leash Obedience Training Are Part Of The Same Training Package Your Dog Will Be Proficient Using All, But Not Limited To The Following Commands: Heir, Sit, Lay Down, Jump, Off, Heel, Your dog will know the commands (Meaning he/she will know the words rather than just responding to leash tension.) When walking besides you on a leash the dog will not pull you around, and can be taught to sit automatically whenever you the handler stops called the Auto Sit, along with sitting upon given the verbal command to sit. When you give your dog the sit or lay down command you will be able to walk around the dog to the end of your leash without s/he breaking the command. Your dog will be able to jump up on objects such as the back of a truck, park bench, picnic table, and then jump off the object when you give your dog the Off command.

OFF LEASH OBEDIENCE WITH THE ADDITION OF DISTRACTION TRAINING

Off leash training is the second phase of communicating, and working with your dog without the safety net of a leash. Your dog will know all of the commands from on leash obedience training plus the additions commands listed below on the Dog Commands list.  With off leash training you will be able to have your dog sit or lay down, without moving while you cross the street, talk to neighbors, etc without the dog moving or breaking the command. When your dog is given the Come command he or she will come to you immediately, and sit beside you. After your dog is comfortable and proficient working off leash we  begin to add on working with distractions such as a wondering cat, stray dog, moving car, bouncing basketball, or a child on bike.

PROFESSIONAL RETRIEVING RETRIEVAL DOG TRAINING

Using the below commands you can have a dog retrieve a thrown or dropped item. The dog will place the object in your hand if you are standing,  or place the object on your lap from the side if you are in the sitting position. Regular or Wheelchair, park bench, etc.

PROTECTION TRAINING

After and/or during on/off leash obedience training you can turn your obedient dog into an offensive and defensive, breathing and thinking security measure equal to an armed man with a knife. Your dog will be proficient in on/off leash obedience training, working comfortably among distractions, plus the commands: bite, let go, and guard. Bite training levels start out as glorified tug of war building a strong solid bite where the dog can hold its entire body weight  being swung in circles without letting go, and slowly progressing to police dog level that will pull a man to the ground, hold his bite until given the out command, guard the person from moving or getting up until you the handler says it is ok, and immediately ready to act upon your next command..

SERVICE DOG TRAINING (For Disabled Handlers)

We can teach your dog specialized skills such as retrieving something from the refrigerator, picking up the telephone, car keys, wallet, etc. Specialized service dog training is based upon the handles individual needs including: on/off leash obedience, protection training, retrieving objects, balance assistance, etc.

K-9 REHABILITATION AND CORRECTION TRAINING

Dog aggression, Food stealing from the table, Chasing cats, jumping on people, you tell us your dogs unique problem/s and we will let you know if we can correct it.
